Nav Gram Nav Ratna Yojana or 9-G 9-R in brief, is a 'cluster development plan' and has been launched as a response to extreme situation being faced by Indian agriculture sector.This format has enabled a cluster of 9-villages to select 25 'rural corporate cooperation leaders', who are part of a 'NAV RATNA RURAL ENTERPRISE CONSORTIUM', managed through 'multi-institutional alliance (MIA)' developed by multiple stakeholders at district headquarter. The Consortium supports complete set of 'synergies' for all kind of stakeholders interested to have stake in rural areas in India but dominantly, it takes care of interests of farmers as producers and artisans of the rural areas. The NGO leading the initiative, named HABITAT (part of Manav Kalyan Sewa Samiti, a registered Society at number 2097 in Haryana), also works in close cooperation with FICATS, The Federation of Indian Chamber of Agriculture, Trade and Services.
